Self-harm can be a way of coping with problems. It may help you express feelings you can’t put into words, distract you from your life, or release emotional pain. Afterwards, you probably feel better—at least for a little while. But then the painful feelings return, and you feel the urge to hurt yourself again. If you want to stop cutting or self-harming but don’t know how, remember this: you deserve to feel better, and you can get there without hurting yourself.

I've been doing course assignments, taking care of my pets, and watching videos on YouTube.

I started a new course, spent some time outside, and I've been trying to drink tea for anxiety.

I've been working on schoolwork, cleaning, and driving when I can. Supposed to talk to my therapist today as well.

Last night I sat on the swing, and my cats have been helping to keep me calm too.

I've been hanging in there for this weekend because there's a 2 day training for mental health first aid. I'm there now and it will be 8 hours today abd 8 hours tomorrow so that's keeping me safe without a tool but also it is nurturing my spirit to be in this training because I'm passionate about doing mental health work

Crying. Lots of crying
It's ok to give in to an urge or make a mistake. You are only human and we all have our flaws. We all have our weak moments and we all make mistakes. Thats what makes us human.
Thats what makes us unique and beautiful

I have two courses to do. So I'm going to clear up the tabs on my phone and watch the course videos on that.
I signed up to volunteer for this program that I joined in tye past. It involves welcoming a kindergarten or 1st grade class and then pairing up with one and reading tofether. Thrn thry get a free book and a pair of pajamas at the end! It is a really cute pajamas party and great way to foster love for reading. It warms my heart just saying it <3 if I can do it more often I would but the seats fill up SO fast. Everything is taken this whole month and all through mid June which is when the program ends.
Trying to hold on for things. I got a summer job thst I really really wanted etc
I have an interesting introductory workshop coming up soon for May 18th as well.

I've done exactly the same. It's the best alternative for me.
Except for that, I tried to focus on schoolwork and studying and making up things to do just to distract my thoughts.

I have been playing games online and spending time with my brother. I'm planning to take a drive later and I've been reading too.

I've hid the blades (granted I kinda know where they are but I still made it hard)
Talking to people and stuff. Trying to keep busy today. Maybe take a shower and clean.
Also if the IOP works out I will be busy during the week. Tomorrow is follow up of the intake. And Tuesday is therapy session.
