45 days!
12 more days until my goal is met.
Scared because school is starting though. This summer's been MOSTLY urge-free. I'm hoping it's a good sign that I'm breaking the cycle though.
Do you ever get a little bit tired of life
Like you're not really happy but you don't wanna die
Like you're hanging by a thread but you gotta survive
'Cause you gotta survive
six weeks and two days and WOW I hadn't been back here in a long, long while because I didn't need to be because I was GOOD for almost two years but fuck now I'm back and I need this because two years wasn't long enough apparently and I am so stressed right now because my parents think I'm a person that I'm NOT and it feels like I wear a different mask with every person and god six weeks two days six weeks two days it gets better I KNOW it does but it's not okay, not today at least.
old habits die hard. and some habits don't die at all. like, zombie bad habits.
I have been self-harm free for TWO YEARS AS OF YESTERDAY.

"For the first time
in a long time,
I can say that I wanna try.
I feel helpless for the most part,
but I'm learning to open my eyes.
And the sad truth of the matter is,
I'll never get over it,
but I'm gonna try
to get better and overcome each moment
in my own way"

"Everybody is always tugging at you. They'd all like a sort of chunck out of you. I don't think they realize it, but it's like 'grrr do this, grr do that...' But you do want to stay intact and on two feet."
-
"I was never used to being happy, so that wasn't something I took for granted. You see, I was brought up differently from the average American child because the average American child is brought up expecting to be happy."
Yesterday was 46 days, hoping today will make 47. Came so close to relapsing though. :/

Two days. I don't know why the fuck I care anymore.
If clarity's in death, then why won't this die?
Years of tearing down our banners, you and I
Living for the thrill of hitting you where it hurts Give me back my girlhood, it was mine first

From day one I talked about getting out
But not forgetting about
How all my worst fears are letting out
He said, "Why put a new address on the same old loneliness?"
When breathing just passes the time
Until we all just get old and die
Well, it's a little past eleven here and at midnight it'll be three days. So close enough.
