Doing the best I can to stay positive. I have a beautiful little girl, and she deserves me to be happy and healthy just as much as I do. I'm just trying to keep remembering that.

Today I was sitting by myself and I felt the urge to cut. I was so close and then I forced my self to get up, walk out of the room and find someone to distract me. That victory kept me cut free for two and a half weeks
I was alone in my room yesterday and I felt the urge to cut, and I was so close. But I forced myself to walk out of the room find something to distract and that victory kept me cut free for three weeks!

It's been a long time for me (six years) but I still get very very strong urges every so often. The longer you go the easier it is not to do it, because you know from experience that every urge can be outpassed (and it can!)
Last week I distracted myself by writing it out. Someone made me feel like shit and I had to remind myself that they can't dictate my feelings.

I haven't cut for a whole day, which is actually the longest I've been without it since I started. I talked to a friend who shared her experiences with SH and we had a really heart-felt discussion <3 Also, I finally got my 3rd ear piercing (2nd lobe) today for my birthday.
