Pornography addiction... -

Hai hai!
I've had an addiction to pornography for 3 years and relapsed 2-3 times. I'm deeply ashamed of this but my mom doesn't get it. She says it's fine and nothing to be ashamed of and she isn't helping to stop it! It's hard for me to bring it up in a conversation with her because I'm so ashamed of it. I really want help now because I decited to tell my mentor- friend person ( I considerher my friend but others would call her a mentor) and she was very sincere about it. I told her more than a month ago and never heard from her again. She apparently up and left on vacation when we were gonna have lunch together. That left me severly depressed and suicidal and a self harmer ( cutting). I wanna stop but I need to myself because it's too hard for me to tell any1 because I fear that the police would get involved(that and i don't trust anyone after what my friend did). Help!

QUICK ADVISE!!!!
i feel the need to tell my councelor about this, but she would have to report it to this department for adults and children servises which may lead to a police investigation MAYBE!!!! its like 50/50! I think i can get the courage tmrw but i need to know if i should just shut my mouth or not!!! help!

I know how hard it can be to trust after someone has left you or hurt you, but the fact is, your counselor can really help you. It's a 50/50 chance of her getting the police involved, but I don't think she will. And even if she does, I'm not sure what all they can do about it.
I think you should tell her, but that's just my opinion. You've already heard it through our messaging.

Don't feel sick. This is something that could really end up helping you, and once you get it out, it will feel so much better. It might be difficult to say, but remember the reason why you're telling them this; because you want help. They can't help you if they don't know what's going on. Before you do it, take a deep breath, relax your muscles, and get it out in the open. Hopefully it will be for the best!

find sports and hang around friends more, ask for some extra work from school, study.. get away from the computer and internet acess for a while,maybe that will help? i ..have an adiction for about 5 years now... ive stopd multiple times, then i dont know i just go back. help me too. ive tried everything.

Guys... I'm in deep.... I told my councelor and she told DHS... Now I'm in a foster home and by sheer luck I can post this... They don't understand the addiction and I'm to ashamed to tell. I'm in a foster home right now... With a family friend...and she

Your in a foster home because you like porn? That's just not right... Well I wish you good luck and safty :/...
And honestly I agree with Mr_null, don't ever feel bad about liking porn. I love porn and I always have ;D. Once you learn to accept the fact you just happen to like it, you can move on. I once had the same dilemna and I was mixed up... but now I'm fine. I enjoy it and still watch it. I realise that I cannot stop what I like... so I might as well accept it and make the best out of it...
Also, I don't view it as an addiction at all, Just a good release from everyday annoyances ^^.
Anyway, hope things work out for you!
