Possible Eating Disorder - February 1st 2010, 09:43 PM

Hi, I have been thinking about not eating a lot and I love food.. But I've been leaning more and more towards stop eating. Recently I have stopped..I ate lunch today but I didn't feel well after that..and it had been my first food for 12 hours. So now I'm not sure if I will eat or not....please give me advice.

Oh sweetie, I dont know why you have decided that, but you need to eat .
To stay healthy a person needs to have a fixed amount of food a day. The amout of food should be matched for your age, body type, activity level, so you dont...you will hurt your body.

Hey Tara :].
I'm really glad that you've realized that something isn't right and that things aren't going well. It's really good that you came here to ask for further advice! :].
I think that it's really important that you try to talk yourself into eating still before it becomes too late and this gets any further. You should try to eat three main meals a day, and if you don't, please at least eat a snack or something to hold you over.
Not eating doesn't seem like a big deal at first to most people, but it gets worse and worse and it could turn into a deathly disease. Please take care of yourself and try to get yourself to eat some more.

Hey! Aww no I don't know why you would want to put yourself through that. Let me tell you right now it is HELL! If you feel you need to lose weight, you just need to eat healthy...not eat nothing! And also try and get some exercise. But I am sure you don't need to lose weight, also I am sure you are really beautiful and you do not need to stop eating!
It's good you have realised this is a problem, and because it is so early on you need to sort it out now! It may seem as though you don't want to start eating, but please! You really do need to eat! You should go and see someone about this, tell them how you are feeling! They will be able to help you
