Belief in God without Religion?

Wanna hear a brutal truth according to the bible? All things are for His glory. It's true. But we cannot fathom how evil can be for His glory, so honestly the best way may just be to forget about it but that doesn't seem like an option, since each of you asks for definite proof if there is a God.

What the hell does God need Glory for? He's GOD. He made everything. He's pretty much the main man (as far as those monotheistic folk go). Your God is a guy who gets high on people following his rules?

My view is that him needing glory and following his rules is simply a nice and simple way for people to get other people to follow their belief. "Follow God or you'll burn FORRREVVVVAAAAAAAA". The option of hell isn't so appealing to some as following the belief is.

But I'd guess that god would be a pretty shitty manager of a store because if the employer disobeys then they'll BURN FORREVVVAAAAAA (or simply get yelled at and condemned to some horrible place where they'll suffer in some way). Hmm, that could be a good comedy, GOD of the QuickeeMart.
