Pandora (Poem)

My heart is called Pandora

my secrets are locked inside

along with all my saddest memories

and cold lonely nights


My heart is called Pandora

the key I threw away

so I can never turn that lock

and cry for days and days


My heart is called Pandora

the box with no key

but that box is very small

it can't contain me


My heart is called Pandora

but my troubles it cannot hold

it begins to cause me pain

too much for me to cope


My heart is called Pandora

it's pain starts to kill me

Pandora needs to be opened

but the lock has no key


My heart is called Pandora

and it needs help!

I scream and call for someone to hear

but only one man appears


My heart is call Pandora

it's help has finally come!

But he simply walks up to me

and puts his arm around my shoulder


My heart is called Pandora

but it still has no key

for that man didn't give me one

instead he talked to me



My heart is no longer called Pandora

instead it's called Forgiven

you see that man then died for me and you

so we don't have to scream


My heart is called Forgiven

and this is what he told me

I'm giving you a new heart one that I made myself

with my blood and love for you

So please do not scream
