Triggering (Abuse): Just another story with no name

In the four walls that create her house, she learned to hate everything about herself.
She was told that everything that makes her unique was wrong. That she should follow the rules and stick to the set song.
She was instructed on how to act, what to say, when to bow. When she refused, the strikes came down. She learn quickly to sit and watch. To wait for a time away from the rest.
Perfection was needed no matter the cost. Perfection drove her to the brink of it all.
Never enough, that what she thought. Everything she did was always wrong.
As she grew older, the story changed. The places, the people did as well. But the whip on her back was still the same strike. The chains on her wrist just another design.
She grew with perfection and disappointment. So she threw herself into the deep end. She covered the walls in things that she liked. Watched them get ripped off every night. She let the tears out of her eyes. She mourn her own damn life.
She watched the world outside the four walls. Learned that uniqueness was a value as well. Yet she was pushed for perfection, told unique was a flaw.
She thought that she didn't really care if it was.
The days seemed darker as they passed. She stopped caring about the lash. Those strikes reminded her that she was still around. But the numbness had taken over by now.She lost focus, she lost desire. She lost sleep and what she wanted to acquire.
She hit at the chains slowly trying to break them. She hit at herself trying to fake it.

The days seemed the same, but she had changed.

Hopefully she would get better one day
