Male Advice Preferred: doctor's visit soon - help 0_o

so this is kind of me just saying a bunch of shit bc i can't fall asleep and i'm bored plus i do want some advice but mainly bc i just want to yap lol.

i'm going to be having a doctor's visit soon for something called Vorsorgeuntersuchungen. I had to find the english translation and it's basically a check up to find diseases or illnesses before they become too problematic. it was recommended that i have it done since my family has a history of heart problems and cystic fibrosis and while i'm there i think i'm going to ask her about why my sex drive is so unbelievably high and why my voice is still so high and i haven't grown any pubic hair or body hair at all and i'm not getting all that tall yet since i feel like if my hormones really are as unbelievably high as i feel like they are then surely by now I would start to look like it but i still look really kid like despite having felt a significant hormonal shift over the last year or so.

i obviously have changed since i started puberty it's not like i have just stayed as a little kid with no change at all. i've had sex and i am capable of producing a decent volume of sperm and probably could get someone pregnant if I ejaculated inside a girl who is also physically matured as much as i am, but with all that in mind i guess it's just jarring to see my peers growing up so fast and i'm still a short hairless high pitched tween basically. i guess i just wanna feel more grown up than i appear and feel physically. even though i dont wanna be all gross and hairy and smelly like a lot of the other boys are becoming (i still like being feminine and cute and girly), it is kind of uncomfortable being in the boys shower room and everyone else seems to be maturing and developing meanwhile i'm still just a tween. i'm going to be playing in a football club soon so i rly don't wanna be a little kid in the eyes of the other boys. i don't really have an issue with bullies at school since i live in a progressive area of gemany and the boys i know that are gonna play too are pretty nice and accepting.

So on top of being nervous about what she's going to say about my puberty and how it's going I'm also kind of nervous about the physical examination side of it. Luckily my doctor who's doing the examination is female so i don't have to worry about it being a male that i'm scared of being around, especially naked. She is going to be examining my body for illnesses and diseases but when she does the physical health/function part of the exam I imagine she's going to inspect my penis and testicles since it's also a sports physical that i need to play football but i'm rly scared of getting hard 0-0 that would be extremely embarassing even though i'm not attracted to my doctor at all. she's so sweet and has been helping me my mom and my brother since we were little kids so it'd be rly awkward to get an erection directly in front of her ;-; am i doomed to be stay small forever like what do i do this shit is so confusing aahhhhh qwq. any replies or dm's if ur more comfortable that way about all this would be greatly appreciated bc my anxiety is going crazy over it and i just wanna talk about it ;-;

Well there's nothing to be scared of. You will manage to control your erection and don't get hard. At least, nothing bad will happen if you get an erection: your doctor won't tell it around and neither you will do, so no worries
In any case I suspect that your hormones are unbalanced, so that's why you don't grow properly.

P.S. I can't find a proper traduction of "Vorsorgeuntersuchungen".

While I don't own a penis/testicles, I have had doctor's appointments from the vagina side of things and get that they can make a person nervous.

I'd start out by writing down everything you want to discuss with her (for example, your voice, your sex drive, etc). Basically anything that you are questioning, write it down. I've noticed that I'll be in an office to discuss a problem and will forget a symptom or forget to bring up a topic, especially if I'm nervous or there's a lot to talk about.

I don't know if this is an option there but over here I'm always offered a chaperone when I have an exam of my genitals or breasts. It's customary in my gynecologist's (deals with the reproductive organs of those who were assigned female at birth) office, and there is also a sign at my primary care provider's office saying that if I want a chaperone at any point of the exam to please ask.

If you get an erection, you are NOT a bad person. Our bodies have a habit of responding to stimulus around us without it necessarily meaning that we are aroused or want to have sex with the person. Sometimes I react to my breasts being examined, but I'm asexual and definitely don't have any actual sexual feelings towards it haha. It's a lot less obvious for someone like me, but sometimes it can help to think distracting thoughts while you're getting the exam.

thank u for the advice c: i have a diary that i like writing in a few times a week so i'll write down the questions i have and bring them up at my appointment. in regards to the chaperone i would have to think about it, i'm not sure if i'd rather have my mom there or my 1st cousin who is also a boy who i trust, it might be easier to have another boy there. i trust my mom of course but if someone is examining my penis i'd rather not have my mom see me if i accidentally become erect ;-; regardless i think it might make me feel more comfortable to be supervised so that's something i'll ask my mom about.

im not worried about my doctor thinking i'm some sexual deviant but still even though germans are a bit more lax about nudity than some other countries are it's still embarassing to have a visible erection in front of someone who isn't ur partner obviously ;-; it's mainly just a big embarrassment thing that i'm worried about. i'm already kind of shy being naked in general so adding the whole "i'm gonna be touching it as well as closely looking directly at it" element is nerve wracking for me yk

I hope I can, my erections are rly hard and firm and last a while if i don't masturbate to calm it down so i'm afraid that I won't be able to keep it down and cant do anything if i have an erection. I guess though I'm not worried that my doctor is gonna think i'm a sexual deviant i am kind of afraid of her being uncomfortable with me and telling my mom oh yea btw your boy had a big erection while i was doing the exam lol. but yea maybe my hormones are unbalanced, we'll see.

Also Vorsorgeuntersuchungen is essentially the german word for a health checkup that is done for general physical wellbeing but also to help test for certain diseases or illnesses that may be hereditary or difficult to treat if not spotted early on. I'm going to make another post in a few minutes about my health issues/fears but yea it's essentially an appointment to try to catch those diseases early on before they become too advanced. Preventative checkup is the english term for it from what i can tell.
