Non-PG13: I don't know if I'm pregnant

I was throwing up all yesterday morning and I felt really sick like a stomach ache today. The last time I had sex was 5 days ago(With my boyfriend). I'm not scared to be pregnant but I want to know. My mom would probably kill me though. Me and my boyfriend are having protected sex with condoms and I'm on birth control, I didn't plan to have sex at first but I was orginally on birth control because my period is heavy.

You would not be experiencing morning sickness after only five days.

You always risk getting pregnant when you have sex but the fact that you are on the pill and using condoms greatly reduces that risk.

You most likely have the flu, drink plenty of fluids and get lots of rest. Feel better.

Like the above poster said, it is very unlikely that you are pregnant. You probably just have a stomach bug! Take care.x

I agree you would not be sick so soon. It is unlikely that you are pregnant. I feel you are just sick drink lots of fluids try to maybe keep down some crackers and rest. I hope you feel better soon!

I agree with the above posters, the fact that you are on the pill and are using condoms greatly reduces your risk of getting pregnant. If you do not start feeling better in a couple of weeks or start noticing other symptoms you might want to consider a pregnancy test then but as of now I think you are probably just experiencing the flu and should be sure to drink plenty of fluids.

The same exact thing just happened to me. I went to the doctors and turns out I'm not pregnant I just have the flu. It's probably the same thing with you.

The zygote is barely developing after day 2 (ie from full fertilization; presuming it takes 72 hours for an egg and a sperm to fully fertilize and materialize... based off the 72 hour pill, which can prevent fertilization).

Your uterus recognizes a pregnancy after about 15-21 days. Morning sickness and period absence are evident during that time, former just beginning then. So there's no way to know you're pregnant five days after having sex.

Not to sound like I'm repeating the others, but they are right. It's most likely the stomach flu. It is that time of the year, after all! Go to the doctor's if it doesn't get any better.
