Help please? Do you think I'm pregnant?? - May 29th 2014, 02:01 PM

OKay so on May 4th I had unprotected sex with my (now ex) boyfriend and he didn't pull out or use a condom and I'm not on birth control. I went a couple days later to planned parenthood and got the "morning after" pill (ella). I didn't have any side effects (cramping, vomit, fatigue, etc) Then a couple days after taking the pill we had unprotected sex again. He didn't ejaculate inside me, but there is "pre cum". Tbh I wasn;t thinking and didn't take the pill again. (He wasn;t forceful, was just very pressuring).

I've been cramping in my lower back really bad adn in my pelvic area. I've been feeling very nauseous and certain smells bother me. I did have my period, but for 2 days about a week after having sex. That is very unusal for me because mine usually last 4-7 days.

Am i pregnant or is it anemia?

PLz help I'm really freaking out. Thanks <3

Hiya!

Well I'd take a pregnancy test just incase, because if I tell you that you might not be then you are that wouldn't be too good, so you can buy one at a shop or go to the doctors and take it that would be the best bet.

Sometimes the morning after pill can mess up your period, I had to take it and I didnt have a period for 2 months and I suspected the worst and it turns out I wasnt, I had cramps and I felt sick all the time but I think it is almost in your head if you aren't pregnant!

Either way i'd take the test just in case!

I agree with Emily, taking a pregnancy test will be your best option right now. You can buy a pregnancy test over the counter at most grocery stores or pharmacy. It has been long enough that a test should give you an accurate result.

Emily is also right that the morning after pill can cause lasting side effects. So you could be feeling ill because of it. But you won't know for sure until you take a test.

If you took those tests within the last few days then I would say it is safe to assume you are not pregnant. The woman's clinic will be able to help determine that as well.

Considering what you've said, it's likely that you're not pregnant, but it's worth seeing a doctor to get a more accurate test done.

Just a side note, but an important one. You should definitely consider using at least one form of contraception. At the very least, a condom should be used to protect you from pregnancy and STDS. But to keep yourself safe from pregnancy, you might want to look into other forms of contraception such as the pill or the implant. It's much safer for you as I'm sure you don't want to end up pregnant just yet. Also, if you're having sex with a new partner, be sure to use condoms so that you're protected from STDS.
