for the pregnant women - August 26th 2009, 10:15 PM

hey,

i've been feeling really nauseated for the past 2 weeks or so, and im on the pill, supposed to start my period in another 2-4 days (the sugar pills start in 2 days, but i don't usually get it until the 3rd day of sugar pill).. and i have ben spotting for the past two days.. like dark black and a bit of clotting.. i read that this can be a sign of implantation bleeding.
considering me and my guy only have no condom once in the past month (and i am on the pill) it feels really unlikley that i could be pregnant.. or is this how it feels for everyone and they are?

I'm not keen to pay for a test unless my period never shows up, so i'm going to hold out for another 2-4 days and see if it comes..

just feeling a little worried and wanted to know if this was how everyone got when they were preggers or if google is leading me astray.. thanks.

I never had any kind of bleeding at the beginning of my pregnancy. No implantation bleeding, no period, nothing. But everyone is different. There's really no way for us to know or be able to tell you whether or not it was implantation bleeding, so if you don't get your period, the best thing to do would be to take a test. Good luck.

I got pregnant when I was on the pill… but, I wasn’t exactly taking it like I should have. Sometimes I’d accidently skip a day, or take it a few hours late. Anyway… I had slight spotting one week when I went on my sugar pills. I thought I’d gotten my period so I went back on my pills for another month. Then I didn’t start again next time I started the sugar pills so I took a test and it was positive. But, just a couple days of light spotting the first time around was all I had.

I also had some weird bleeding here and there during the years I was on b/c just because my pills messed with me sometimes. So, my only advice is wait and see if you have a real period when you start you’re sugar pills. If not, take a test.
