Talking Im Pregnant - June 23rd 2011, 03:59 PM

So I took 2 digital tests this morning and both came back positive. Im thrilled but scared, my doctors appointment is tomorrow. So what's the first appointment like? And does anyone know what's safe to take for headachs?

First appointment is easy.. They may or may not do an ultrasound. They'll give you an estimated due date. Probably do some blood work and a pap test. Check blood pressure. Confirm the pregnancy..

To add on what Amy's already said... they will probably make you give a unrine sample at every appointment starting at your first visit, and also have you answer a list of questions about you and your family's medical history as well as the father and his family's medical history.

I was told its safe to take Tylenol during pregnancy for headaches, but every doctor is different so I would make sure you talk to yours about what he thinks is safe.
