Sooo my crush told me my no ex-boyfriend was really toxic, which I agreed, so I broke up with him. Today I confessed to my crush that I liked him...and he liked me back!!! He never said were dating but we both like each other...??? He means the world to me. He's the only reason I'm alive still and willing to get help to recover from self-harm. I want to marry that guy...I know were only in middle school but I see us getting far. September 22nd, 2022 was the day we became friends. I don't know why I remember the exact date, but 849 days ago, we became friends. And now we have a crush on each other....holy shit

I'm not outright telling you not to date this guy, but if you do it sounds like you're going to have to be really secretive, which may make it harder to hang out with him and talk to him in general. Make sure that the consequences of your family finding out about this guy don't outweigh the benefits of dating him (ie searching your phone or taking it away entirely).

If you're both happy in that type of relationship it's fine then. It's all about what you're comfortable with. So, if you're both comfortable with just seeing each other in school then that's fine.
