I too have severe issues with caffiene- generally I try and swap Coffee for Tea, which has slightly less caffiene in to kinda loosen it's grip on me.

There is some Genetic evidence- I can only remember the Holland Twin study showing some signs of a genetic link. I still don't think it is a genetic thing...and linking it to Autism is very premature.
