But it's not the case with me, because I come from a totally different culture/country/everything, so there is nothing to be offended about. We celebrate a lot of other festivals all year through. -

I come from a country where we celebrate other festivals and Christmas is celebrated by the Christians only. I went to a convent school, so I have a lot of teachers who celebrate Christmas, so I celebrate with them.
It sounds like fun, but I hate last minute plans and my cousins don't plan in advance. I am used to it now, but it still annoys me. -
Oh, looks like you had a fun Thanksgiving. Where did you travel to?
We don't really celebrate Christmas, where I come from and my New Year plans depend on my friends and cousins, so it is likely to be finalized on the 30th.
