    Hey there! =) I noticed you removed the original content for your thread in "Friends and Family". I literally responded one minute after you did that, so I'm going to go ahead and copy-and-paste what I wrote on here. I'm deleting the thread, but feel free to create another one if you would like additional advice/support! =D

    "What do you mean there's no way to avoid driving him? Would he threaten to hurt you if he didn't? Would you be punished by parents/friends if you didn't comply? Honestly, if I had a "friend" like this, I would steadily start to pull away. It sounds like that's what you want to do as well.

    If that's not the case, and you just want to make it clear you're not interested in him romantically - no matter what the situation or circumstances - then tell him point-blank. He needs to respect your feelings. If he won't, he's not worth keeping as a friend.
