Really? Wow! I have had friends who don't know who Chef Ramsey is! D= I was like "wow O.O"

It was hard, and it still is pretty hard, even though its been 6 years, the memories are still fresh in my mind.

I can say that my experience on Modding was amazing and I loved it. I wish I was still a mod. I was forced to leave, and I was kicked out of the website I was on. Its a story I would love to tell though. It really shows how low people are.

and I hope to meet my love soon <3 He lives in Missouri. And yes I have heard about the Violence, and its not friendly.

Haha! Would you believe me if I told you that one of my friends doesn't know who Gordon Ramsey is?! D= I was trying to explain him (and "Hell's Kitchen") to her: amazing British chef, blonde hair, curses a lot. xD She made a batch of brownies, but didn't taste them first... so I told her that Chef Ramsey would kick her butt if he knew she sent something out before tasting it. =P

I'm sorry to hear about your father. =( I just read your story... that must have been incredibly hard for you to bear, and to still bear to this day. My parents are divorced, and my father re-married soon afterward... but I don't believe he actually started looking until after they had separated, and thankfully, he hasn't had any other children with his new wife (soon-to-be-ex-wife, actually). I can't even begin to imagine how I would feel if that had happened to me. I think I would also have had to cease contact with him, mainly to preserve my sanity and sense of well-being... but it would have been difficult to cut him off entirely, too. It's not an easy decision to make, and I'm sorry that you had to make it.

You definitely don't have to say anything about your moderator experience if you don't want to. =) I've left some of my positions on good terms, and others on bad terms. At the end of the day, all the staff teams have let me down in some way or another, some more painfully than others. I'm so glad that TeenHelp's staff team isn't full of petty, self-centered individuals. =D If you're still around in a month's time, you really should consider applying! If you're not sure about whether or not that's something you want to do, you could start off by being an associate staff member. That means you don't have the weekly requirements, but you can still help members out through HelpLINK and/or LiveHelp. =) Essentially, you can get a taste of what it's like to be on the staff, then decide whether or not you want to apply.

I hope you'll get to meet soon as well. =) Wow, that's a long time to be friends with someone before dating them! In both cases, I started dating about a month after meeting them. xD It's not the smartest thing I could have done... it didn't work out for me the first time, but it has for this relationship! Where in the United States does he live? I'm in southern California... in fact, Mexico is less than an hour's drive away. =P Not like I would go there, of course... too much violence at the moment, not tourist-friendly at all. =(

Ah, I explained my abandonment issues in a thread. My father is the main reason why. I use to be able to trust people really good, until sadly life became unkind to me.

I like: Criminal minds, Law and Order SVU, Hell's Kitchen, The cake boss, Kate+8 and a bunch of other shows xD. I dont really have a hero in my life, If I had to choose a hero it would be "Olivia Benson" from SVU (I wrote an essay explaining my reasons) but I agree, no one is perfect.

I was a mod on another website. I was one for a year. But something happened, another experience to add to my depression. Thats another story on what happened.

I have been with my partner for 8 months. We have been best friends for nearly 4 years now. I live in Canada, he lives in the states. We have not met yet, but we hope to meet soon.

I'm sorry to hear that you suffer from depression, but I'm glad that you're finally finding a place where you can open up and be yourself. =) I don't suffer from abandonment issues, but I do have a difficult time trusting people right off the bat.

What shows do you like? =D And it's funny... most forums and social networking websites have "hero" categories for profiles. I never know what to say... I mean, I admire my dad, but he's made mistakes. He's not Superman. xD So this time, I just decided to say the "everyday hero" because NO ONE is perfect. Everyone, however, is capable of doing heroic things. =)

I've been a staff member for various sites over the years. In fact, I was a co-admin for one, up until January. I like to serve on websites where I feel like I'm making a real difference in members' lives. That's why I came here (and why I've always left other websites in the past). It's been almost a year that I've been serving as a staff member on TH, so I'm excited to see how much longer I'll be sticking around for. =D

How long have you been dating your partner? =) Is it a long-distance, or LONG-long-distance relationship? xD

I am finding this place to be comforting and to be its like a safe haven to me. I joined this site because I have depression and I was looking for a place were I could express myself and not be judged. I am glad that I found this place, I am becoming comfortable.

And =) I should mention we have alot in common. I like the same shows as you, and I believe in the "every day hero" and I see you enjoy your staff duties! Thats good to hear! I was once a staff on another website (Thats another story...) and I enjoyed it too! anddddd Also I am in a long distance relationship.

And Okies! Have fun at your university.

It's random, but that doesn't mean it's a bad thing. =D It's nice to meet you, Luna!

I see you joined about a week ago... how have you enjoyed the forums thus far? I'm about to catch the bus to my university, but I'll be sure to log back on as soon as I get there. =)
