Well, I had braces for more than 2.5 years, so I'm used to having dental stuff down. But this was my first surgery in a hospital with general anesthetic, so that's what was worrying me. I had it done 18 hours ago and the numbness (because they used local anesthetic while I was sleeping) has only just really worn off. It doesn't hurt very much actually. You should really get them done while you're younger because recovery will be easier, but I put mine off for ages as well, so I definitely see where you're coming from.

AHAHA! I have to get my wisdom teeth pulled, too. D= Been putting it off for a few months now... I HATE getting stuff done to my mouth. Well, we definitely missed having someone on the Dear Avatar section, so welcome back! =) Take care of yourself after the surgery, and we'll talk more when you're feeling better!

Well, I was just going to do HelpLINK, but Rob said that I would be much appreciated on Avatar as well, so I decided to do both. I'm feeling a lot better about being able to balance everything in my life. But mostly, I just missed the community here so much that I had to come back . Unfortunately, I'm having my wisdom teeth out in a few hours, so depending on the pain, I might not be really back for a few more days =P.

You're back... and you're on Avatar again! It's good to see you're active again. Will it just be for the summer, or have you found a way to balance work and TeenHelp?

Ha, thank you . I was so sure I was going to get rejected. The PM from Rob popped up this morning and I was too scared to open it. Then I checked my VMs and saw all the "congratulations" ones, so I figured it was safe to open the PM .

Hahaha! You really ARE a copycat. =P I join Avatar, you join Avatar. Now I join a committee, and you join a committee! But seriously, congratulations on becoming a member of the DC! You're going to be amazing, I'm sure of it. =D

Thank you! =D I've actually applied for committee positions in the past, but there were always more qualified individuals. I decided to wait a few weeks before applying for this position, to make sure that it was really something I could handle, and that I could bring something new to the team. Sooo, yeah! =) I'm STOKED.

Haha, I won't think you're a copycat. =P After all, you weren't a copycat when you applied for the same primary position as me, or for a forum moderator position... oh, wait, maybe you are. xD JK. I would ask Jes (Asylum) for some pointers, though... she's been around TH for AGES, and she was "real" with me in regards to my chances of being accepted. I think you may be too new of a staff member for a committee position... but given how active you've become in the four months you've been a staff member, and given the OPC's availability, you *might* stand a chance.

You're on OPC! That's great . Congratulations! I was actually thinking of applying, but now everyone will think I am just copying you .

Aww, that's so cute! <3 Congrats on wrapping up your field study! =D And now you get to spend more time on TeenHelp and with the boyfriend. xD

Well, your posts (both in the forums and on HelpLINK) speak for themselves. =) With a dynamic application thrown in there, I can see why Rob would want to have you as the second moderator for S&P. =D
