Well, I didn't fail any classes my freshman year, but the habits I developed of not doing my homework and not paying attention in class continued into my sophomore year, and first semester, I failed geometry. I had to retake it second semester, and I passed it with 103%. I also exceeded the math portion of my standardized test. It was like a slap in the face, failing a math class. So I worked extremely hard my second semester and got 2 A's and 2 B's. I was put on the honors track for math, but due to complications I won't be taking a math class in the fall of my junior year, instead I'll be a math tutor for an intro to Algebra or Algebra 1 class, which doesn't count as a math credit. My third math credit I'll take second semester junior year, and my last math credit I'll take my senior year. If I had just developed those good habits my freshman year I'd only have one semester of math left. It pays off, it really does.
