I totally don't wake up to an alarm. I usually wake up a minute before it goes off, switch it off and go back to sleep. Actually I am studying for CS in the morning, that's why my mum wakes me up.

I'll tell you after the wedding. I don't know for sure. I know they have a dandiyaa night, but I'm not sure if all have it or only my friend's family.

Oh my mum's family always lived in Mumbai and dad's in Chennai. They shifted here for business purpose.

Marwadi wedding, yes. My best friend is from Rajasthan!

I know right! I have always lived in Maharashtra and whenever I tell anyone I'm a South Indian, the first question they ask is, 'Madrasi?' or they say 'Chennai Express' Gah!

What are you upto? Holidays suiting you?

I am a Brahmin from Karnataka and my mum's from the Kerala-Karnataka border, I actually love rituals and stuffs, so I like our weddings also.
But the North Indian ones are more fun, yes.

Now a days, my family blends a few Northie rituals in our weddings also.

And and and I am going for a Marwadi wedding next month. My best friend's aunt's wedding.

    Haha! I realized that.

I tried explaining about Indian weddings to a friend on here. I had no clue how to explain so I sent wiki links. I mean how do you explain 'mandapam' or even 'paisam'
