Ahh, one more year till you move out. I'd be freaking out, haha. I'm already freaking out that I only have two Christmases left before college.
    Oh, and this happened.

Oh, really? Another small school runner. My school has less than 500 high schoolers (probably like 300...I don't know the exact number). Only around 30 people run each season.
So will this be your first track season then? This'll be my second. I run distance for track (1600/3200) so the running around in circles kind of drives me crazy. You're smart to do the sprinting events. I find distance more satisfying though, I guess (which is why crazy me decided to go for an eleven mile run in the MOUNTAINS over the summer and completely wreck my feet with blisters...*shakes head at self* ).
Yeah? I can relate. The last three years have been pretty rough for me. I've got my fingers crossed that 2014 is a lot better.

Wow, you're good! I ran my second season of cross country this year, since I'm a sophomore. I was MVP too. (Technically MVR. ) My team actually almost went to state too (in California), but we're Division 5 (aka super tiny haha), so there's much less competition than in the other divisions.
So how's everything? Are you running track this year?

Hi David! Welcome to the TH family.

I'm Hailey, a Buddy here. I saw the word "runner" in your username and absolutely had to come say hello, because I'm a long distance runner also. (I'm actually wearing my running clothes as I type this. ) Do you run track or cross country, or just on your own time?
    (Or both...I do both. )

Since you're new I thought I'd also introduce you to some pretty neat places around the site. One of them is this article on ways you can obtain support and advice on TH, complete with pictures. The videos are also great to check out if you want to know more about something in particular. And finally, the blogs are a very cool part of the site to look into, whether you'd like to read them and learn more about people or start your own blog (I have a blog, but I only update it occasionally...).

If you need anything at all or want to just talk or anything, feel free to PM/VM me anytime! I hope to see you around.

    ~Hailey
