Experience the great outdoors

The outdoors can be the best way to get over any mental illness. The fresh air can clear your mind and if you are in the country it can make you feel free.

However as you maybe ill there are 2 very important things that you should remember before going

Firstly never go alone as if anything happens that could put you in danger. The wild can be dangerous if you don’t know what you are doing and as you could not understand the dangers go with someone that does.

Holidays and the benefits

Holidays are the best as they can offer some well-earned rest when you are feeling a bit down. A few days away can really boost your mood if you are feeling down and you can see things that are truly unique if you go away on holiday. I went to America in the summer for example and for me the holiday helped me to get over the stresses and emotions of depression and life.

Make sure if you go on holiday that you go somewhere that you like because that will help you like it even more....

Money can be a worry if you don’t have an income or a very low income. Counselling can cost a lot of money if you go through with it privately which is a problem. However, there is one way around it if you can’t afford it. GPs can refer you to it meaning that you don’t pay for any of the treatment given to you because it is paid for by the NHS which however means you have to push a lot to be given the treatment as they are not very willing. I've had a lot going on lately. I'm probably going to forget to mention some of the things, but that's okay.

My APRN wants me to wean off the Gabapentin so I can just be on the Effexor. I don't have to follow any strict routine to do it. She basically just said to take it as needed from now on until I'm out of it and talk to her if anything happens. So far I'm not taking it on Thursday-Sunday anymore because nothing anxiety inducing happens those days. On Monday-Wednesday I am only...
