Like actually.
I mean it's been a little too humid to be actually comfortable, but at least it's actually been raining, and we can look at finally calling an end to the worst drought in 50+ years.

So I got out of bed, and was just about to get dressed when the phone rang. It was Dad, saying he was on his way over. Well, that he would be leaving as soon as he got off the phone anyway. So I got dressed, chucked my washing in the machine, and did my dishes which I was too lazy to do last night. I was just boiling the kettle for a coffee when he turned up, so I offered him a cup of tea and we had a hot drink. Luckily it wasn't raining at this time.

So we went up to my car, I unlocked it and popped the hood, Dad put the battery back in, we checked all the fluid levels (all fine), and then we discovered that the battery in the beepbeep was dead. So we went for a drive to Repco in Dad's car, got a new battery (A27 for future reference), changed the batteries over and drove home, where I pressed the button and my car made the right noises! Then I started my car, and Dad checked a few things whilst I had the engine running, and I used the squirty mix to give the windscreen a mild clean so it's safe to drive on Wednesday. (Wednesday is when I will have money to start to get my care street legal.)

I am 100% sure it will pass a warrant, it didn't have any fluids left on the ground, I just need to put air in the tyres and give the car a bloody good clean.

So that was cool!

AND THEN
I checked my mail box and had mail from my pen-pal <3, I actually did a little dance at the mail box. So that was cool too!

And I spent most of the afternoon chatting to cool people, and then I had dinner, and I helped my new neighbour set up her TV and also helped her discover that the computer the old people left there doesn't work, and I *also* picked up a set of exercise band thingies. I can't find exactly what they're called (I think some call them powerbands but when I looked those up they're different, these have handles at each end) but we used them heaps when I was coaching so I know lots of exercises that use them. Plus they're kinda fun.

So, I had a good day!
Go me.
