Sam I am is in hospital. (My friend and ex-flatmate.) She's alright at the moment, but she's been severely NOT alright. She was in respite at the end of last week, but her voices got really bad and after she was found on the train tracks and had to be restrained, they put her in hospital.

She's doing okay. She's working towards once more maintaining as much wellness as she can and hopefully getting out on Friday. I'm glad I visited her, it's reassuring to see her and just validate her health for myself.

I went out this morning, in the appropriately wintry weather, and got stuff done. I've paid my account at the doctor's, I had McDonald's for breakfast, got all my groceries, came home.

I GOT MAIL!!!!
A certain awesome somebody sent me a Stephen King book that I don't already own and haven't already read. So yay for that! Especially in the current weather.

Went for a drive with Leisa and my new neighbour, Geraldine. Unfortunately one of my jandals broke, so I'm going to have to give up and just wear sneakers until summer. I mean I could buy a cheap pair of jandals but I don't know if I will.

Then I got dropped off in Manukau, I paid my account at the pharmacist, then bought some junk food to take to Sam, and then I visited her.

Afterwards I caught the train back to Manurewa, bought some Chinese, and prepared for a quiet night in.

But it didn't really turn out that way. Someone knocked on my door at about 8pm, and it turned out that the housing NZ guy had come to repair Geraldine's toilet but she wasn't letting him in. Long story short, he's coming back tomorrow, and I found some food in her pantry and cooked her a meal. She's getting a food grant on Friday and I remember Leisa telling her that she'd have enough money for food until then, but either she hasn't realised she still has money, or she spent it on something else. Either way.

Also I discovered the reason my toilet looked funny was it needed a quick scrub. Although at some point I am now going to wash the toilet brush with hot water and bleach. . . think it needs it.

I feel a lot like cutting. I'm not really sure why. I think I'm supposed to take quetiapine when I feel like this but . . . I don't know. Maybe it's from being sick or having my period . . . I don't know. There's stuff on my mind and a little pain and some blood would be a relief, I guess.

Don't mind me, I'm just not entirely level yet. Still all over the place.
