Yo, what up peeps.
First off, I forgot to tell you all that I'm celebrating the fact that I have a new phone. Sony Xperia Z1. It's shiznizzlyizzit, and my only issue so far (I've had it a week) is that I somehow moved the messaging icon from the task-bar into a folder . . . and I don't know how to put it back on the task-bar.

In therapy-related news, I told Debbie about my strong cannabis game last week, because she asked about the racing thoughts, so I told her I'd sort of been self-medicating. (No self-harm though!) She asked me if I've ever been on ritalin (methylphenidate) before, and if I could remember if I had the same problems before I had my head injury. I told her I have been on ritalin, and it worked somewhat but I don't remember details because that was what, 6 and 7 years ago. So I texted Mum, and she said I've always been like this, and her opinion is that "you were calmer on drugs." So I'll pass that information back to Debbie.

Debbie also asked if I'd considered working with the child & adolescent outpatient unit. I said I hadn't. She said I should find out if they have positions available as she feels that with my mix of skills from coaching and so forth, I'd be really good as peer support for younger people. She also pointed out that at the tender age of 25, I'm at least 10 years younger than the majority of peer support specialists, so that goes in my favour.

Erm . . . yeah.

Seriously the words you come up with. Shiznizzlyizzit. But good luck on putting it back. Maybe Google can help?

It seems really good that Debbie is recognizing the fact that you worked really hard by asking you if you would ever consider working at that outpatient unit. I think her asking goes to show that she does have a lot of confidence in you, and I have loads of confidence that you'd be good at it too, just from talking to you here.
