Yep, we've been planning it for a while, and finally it is coming together.

I'm going to live with my big sleepy bear, Jon. Things have gotten so much easier. Jon's mom suggested something we hadn't thought of before. Jon has an older brother who rents a small house. A 2 bedroom place, with affordable rent. We're talking to him about moving in with him. He's almost never home so we'd have privacy, the unused room is huge so there's plenty of room for my things and Jon's, and we wouldn't have to worry about all that money for a deposit on an apartment, furniture, kitchen supplies, and everything else. All we'll really need to buy is a bed. I'm so excited! Splitting the rent with his brother is more affordable than any apartment we've found, and we'd be saving money that will help us pay for college. We both want to take our courses online so we can work and have flexible hours with college. Once we get better jobs with good pay, we'll be able to move out on our own and find a nice apartment for ourselves. But for now, we'll be with his brother. We're starting out small, but we'll get where we really want to be eventually. I'm optimistic about this!

That's so amazing! I'm so glad you have figured this out! That is much cheaper, so a great idea. I would stay there for a while, school is VERY expensive. My recommendation were to be that you two put away a certain amount in a special account together, like,$25 from each of you into this account every month to save for your apartment. This can also be the "Saving for a rainy day" fund, for emergencies such as fixing a car or something unexpected. But you can use it for your own place in the future! I'm very happy with you. Moving in with my boyfriend is still, sadly, just a dream. Hahaha. Good luck!
