I am getting a bracelet when I get to one month. I have to keep going to prove that I'm stronger than my ex thinks I am. I have to prove that I am strong and can be without him, and that he isn't still in control.

I'm also taking part in the bracelet project like Hester, I have one all made that I am very proud of and I cannot wait to wear it! Just a few more days, I can do this!

I am also going to take part in the bracelet thing by making myself a bracelet once I get to one month and a new one each month I think it will work well. It also helps that I have been trying for quite a while to stop and each time I make it further and I am really determined.

I have a cousin, Andrew, thats in jail. And we made a promis, i dont cut, he stays out a trouble. And my boyfriend helps me and lets me talk and tell him bout how i want to and why i should and everything im feeling when i want to. And i have another friend, he says if i cut, he'll do twice as many cuts.....so i have a lot of support

A large combination of things.. Mostly talking to people who hold me to my promise I made myself to not get back into that pattern again.
Right now, I'm talking to my best friend, which helps with the urges. Recently, I've just been too busy to worry about hiding cuts, so that's motivation not to make any more of them.

My way of alternatives is I use a rubber band. It releases emotions that I'd normally release with SH. It feels good to feel the snap of the band on my wrist.

A friend and I decided that a good way to help me stop was saying that if I cut, I had to do something that I really didn't want to do, in my case, telling my aunt or uncle that I cut  And because telling them is the worst thing I can think of, and I promised that I would (which means I absolutely have to), I haven't cut. Hopefully, that will last

I made a calm jar, blew up a load of balloons and started an alcohol/self harm diary to help keep on top of things
