Sadness engulfs like a flickering flame
you can’t tell the difference, it’s always been the same
You’re hopelessly lost
inside your own mind
You can’t find you’re way out
it’s as if you’ve gone blind
So you cut your pretty wrist
a new scar to add to many
It’s too bad that one
quickly turns to twenty
You’re drowning in an ocean
depression holding you under
You look at the blood pouring down your wrist
with a sick sense of pride
You start to shake
your eyes go wide
You never got to say
your final goodbye
