Advice Is Worthless - August 20th 2019, 03:20 PM

Let me explain.

I notice lots of people seek advice from others
when something happens in their life.

This could be about anything.

What blows me away is people will spend an
enormous amount of time seeking help, seeking
advice from other people, and even when they
do get that advice, they never take it to heart
and keep repeating the same problems again and again.

Some of the advice one gets can be the best
advice in the world, regardless of what it’s about,
but it doesn’t matter if that advice is worth all the
money in the world…

If one never uses it, it’s completely worthless.

Yes, we all need to seek out clarity and guidance
from time to time about the problems life throws at us, but the
truth of the matter is nobody is gonna solve your problems.

Stop expecting someone is coming to save you.

Save yourself.

And I’m gonna keep it real with you…

You’re most likely not going to take me seriously,
and to be honest, I don’t really care. I don’t know you,
and I already understand not everyone is gonna
wanna hear this.

Most people who happen to read this and even
my other messages I’ve written so far will read
this, but then it will completely go out the other ear,
and within not even 24 hours later, they will go
back to doing the same thing before they even
came across and read my message on here.

You ever noticed you keep creating the same
kind of problems for yourself?

Have you even bothered for one moment to
pause and ask why is that?

Unfortunately though, that’s the sad truth.

Most people will go through their entire life
creating the same kinds of problems for themselves,
ask themselves lousy questions, and even if they
do get advice, it will go in one ear and out the other.

Doesn’t it scare you that you could very well
end up being like the majority?

Well the good news is you have a choice right now.

All the advice you’ve been getting from other people,
pay close attention to who you’re listening to for advice.

Does the other person have your best intentions?

Are they coming from a place of happiness and fulfillment,
or are they coming from a place of pessimism and negativity?

When you figure that part out, don’t take the advice
for granted, and take action on it.

Live by the advice you were given.

Don’t be like the majority.

If you want your life to improve, be a good listener,
keep an open mind, and be a doer of life instead
of whining and always showcasing a tale of tragedy.

It doesn’t always have to be that way…

It doesn’t always have to be that way…

Whatever’s going on in your life right now,
you can absolutely change it and decide
that you’re going to feel differently about it.

It’s never too late to turn it all around…

But it’s always too late to wait and see what happens.

I agree with being a good listener and being open minded when it comes to receiving advice. I also really liked questioning the other persons intentions and making sure they have your best interests at heart- so important!

Re: Advice Is Worthless - August 20th 2019, 07:04 PM

Let's not forget also taking the advice to heart and actually using it as well.

Of course, cause here's all these people seeking out advice, and what happens often is they don't look at who's giving the advice. Anybody can give advice, but you gotta be careful who you're listening to cause it's very easy to follow the wrong advice.

I think the way that you can tell a lot about someone is to look at what they're all about. What are they posting? What do they talk about? What kinds of conversations do they have with people? How's their lifestyle? Are they genuinely happy every day, or are they very miserable and cynical, always telling a tale of tragedy all the time?
