Period during ovulation?

I have been on birth control pills for quite some time and have been getting my periods regularly and on time with no issues. This past time I got my period as usual when it was supposed to according to the pill pack, but 14 days later, which should be when I'm ovulating I got another full blown period and I've had it for a full week now. What could be going on right now. I'm confused because I know it is normal to spot during ovulation, but this is not spotting. Any ideas?

From searching online you might wanna talk to your doctor about it. They can either up your BC or even change it. That seems to have helped with this. Hope I've helped some!

Well, you don't ovulate on birth control. It stops that from happening.
But I think you should see your doctor, because a full blown period in the middle of your cycle shouldn't happen.
