Period hasn't come

I have been taking birth control for about 8 months. My boyfriend lives far away from me because he goes to college in a different state. He came home to visit and he and I had sex. We used a condom and he pulled out and I was taking my birth control correctly at this time. I know the condom didn't break because he tied it off and o disposed of it and all of the semen was contained. So, after he went back to school, I kind of stopped taking my birth control because I just didn't fill my prescription. I don't think I'm pregnant. Is it possible I'm missing my period because i stopped taking my birth control?

I just wanted to let anyone reading this and going through the same thing, I started my period today.

I'm glad youve got your period and aren't pregnant. The fact that you were on birth control and used a condom is good and makes it very unlikely for pregnancy to happen anyway. Just make sure you keep using a condom if you can't get your bc refilled.
