Putting a Band-Aid on some of the cuts and saying I fell has worked for me.
I also use Bio Oil to make my cuts fade faster. It can be found at almost any drug store.

Dez's suggestion is great! Occupy yourself, keep your hands busy, and keep putting it off like Dez said. Hopefully the urge will fade!
