Ahh, i just finished those awful compulsory subjects, i'm doing A-levels now so i only do four subjects, it's pretty cool but it's intense!
Your time for optional subjects will arrive, time does seem to be zooming past these days so just keep focused

It does get very, very hot here. The humidity is extremely high, so it makes it feel hotter than it is. I prefer the heat though. I live in the heat, go outside when it is hot in the summer everyday. Love it.
