So nice of you to drop by, thank you so much for doing so! In case you don't happen to know who I am, my name is Mark. I'm a 23-year old who's currently building a life that I want to enjoy for the long term. This blog is designed for young adults who seek guidance and clarity on the problems that life often throws at us. What you will gain from reading my blog entries is the wisdom that I've learned along the way that has helped me create and live a better life. You can absolutely do the same. If you happen to read some of my oldest entries, you will notice how I've changed along the way compared to now.

I want to remind you that we all go through challenges and obstacles. We can't go back and change what happened. All we can do is our best at the end of the day and learn from experience so we don't end up repeating the same mistakes.

If you ever want to message me about anything, feel free to PM me and I will answer back as soon as possible.

Thanks so much for stopping by, have a great day wherever you are in whatever time zone you are in!

Hardships.

Just even hearing the word
Automatically has
That negative connotation to it
That almost everyone despises.

Most would wish away
Their current or past hardships,
And want to live in a Utopia,
A perfect life with no pain and suffering.

But let's think about that for a moment.

If everything was perfect
With no pain and suffering,
With no hardships of any kind,
What kind of a life
That would be?

It's true that there would be no problems,
But let's face it.

We all know there will never
Be a world without hardships,
Pain and suffering.

You ever hear the saying
"Everything happens for a reason?"

Cliched, I know.

However, there's a much
Deeper meaning to that
Than most would guess or think.

People think hardships
Are meant to destroy us,
But that's the wrong way
To view that as.

Hardships are things that happen,
Whether we like it or not,
That encourages us to be stronger,
To be that better person,
To help us grow,
To move us to where
We want to be in life.

It inspires us to do better
With our life.

Remember earlier I asked
Have you heard of the saying
"Everything happens for a reason?"

Ever wonder what that reason is?

Most people wouldn't know
The answer to that if you asked,
And only some really know the answer.

It's to further the development
Of wisdom within you.

That's it. That's the answer,
So now you know
What to say
When someone asks
What that reason is
When the saying goes
That everything happens for a reason.

When we look at it,
Hardships aren't really enemies.

If we look at it from a different perspective
Than most people would,
We can see that through all that pain,
All that suffering,
Hardships gave us the push
To do better,
To carry on,
To do something
If we weren't happy
With where we're at in our lives.

These very things
Make people more compassionate
Towards one another.

These very things
Make people get a wakeup call,
And realize that they really can't
Waste this life.

These very things...

Make us believers.
