I'm in the school band, so I decided to practice. I beat the shit out of that drum and it felt so good to let out all of that anger that I always let build up inside of me. 33hours SH free and counting<3 and I hope with every fiber of my mind, body and soul that I NEVER SH ever again. Stayin' strong. Going to tell my dad this weekend, I hope, and see if I can get a therapist.

Jessie, I find knitting really helpful when I'm anxious also because it's something to do with your hands.
I also loved the one that said "talking to a friend." Sometimes all you need is a good friend to talk to.

Went shopping with dad and distracted myself with loud music. I've also spent time with friends and done some revision. Now I'm going to relax with a movie. :]

I told my mom just yesterday, and I'm glad I did now. She understood and is gonna get me help. Knowing that I will eventually get better, it makes the battle worth it.

I was really close to cutting because of what someone said to me, but I called my friend and we talked about it for a good hour or two she always makes me feel better when im feeling down or depressed.

Truthfully, I have wanted to cut about eight times in the last two weeks. But the last time I did it (about 3 months ago I think--February 22nd), I hid my scissors and cannot find them...So yeah. I've been talking to my friend a lot, and to my kind-of boyfriend and that helps. Sometimes, just throwing myself into my work helps, nine times out of ten.

What stops me from doing it is
seeing how bad my scars are, and how they wont heal.
I can't let that happen ever again. :/
So when I'm sad or mad... I just sleep. I sleep a lot. It seems to fix all of my problems. eh
But these scars are so bad and they just wont go away, I have such bad regret about doing it. The regret stops my from doing it.
Someday we will find what we are looking for. Or maybe we won't. Maybe we'll find something much greater than that..

I don't want to let my friend down. One of my best friends has also struggled with self harm so she was the first person I told because I knew she wouldn't freak out too much. I think about how worried she was about me when I confessed about cutting instead of just scratching and I don't want her to worry. And I got on TeenHelp.

Well Im trying the butterfly project(using heart instead of butterfly) and soo far it been working everytime i look down and see the heart it keeps me going
 shh maybe if you lie real still
you'll hear her tears as they spill
shes hurt and lost and giving up
nobody is around worthy of her trust
"Shes a fake" they'll scream!
"its attention she wants!"
those are the fears that'll haunt

I think it has been almost 2-4 months since I last self harmed. I feel so happy with myself for accomplishing it. There are days when I itch for it but ignore it by doing other things like tv, games.
