Every time I feel triggered to do so, I either listen to music or start writing everything down. Sometimes I even just take the pencil and the page and start scribbling until the urge is gone.
One thing that I have done recently is write the word inspiration on my arm. I used to wear a white string around my wrist to remind me that I am stronger than the urge, but about a month ago it fell off. I still carry it with me wherever I go though. Writing inspiration is just another little reminder, though.

I got a tattoo that says "love" on my wrist. I try to look at it and remind myself of the people I love and who loves me.
I don't feel ashamed of my scars any more. And even when I've relapsed, it doesn't have the same control on my brain that it used to. It doesn't completely consume me.
Hope is real. Help is real. LOVE is the movement.
