well i have a series of questions that i get asked and it's always the same order.

I've been called D.J. my whole life. my dad wanted to call me that but he didn't want me to have his middle name. so technically I'm not a Jr. , and my actual initials are DTR.

so first it starts off with people trying to guess my middle name.
and naturally they guess every J name they can think of.
so then they ask "what is your middle name?"
and after i tell them tanner, the next one is "so what's the J stand for"
then i have to explain everything for like the 45393475 time in my life
it just gets a little annoying after awhile

When people ask me if I miss living with my dad, or if I miss living where I used to live. I-REALLY-effing-don't-want-to-talk-about-it.

I once got asked where my "heart" was. (Whether it was with my dad or with my mom.) How the hell am I supposed to answer that question?

I hate being asked what kind of music I like...it's almost always a trick question where the person asking is just going to judge me based solely on what bands I like. If I say I like Tchaikovsky, I've got a stick up my ass. If I say I like Green Day, I'm a poser. If I say I like Korn, I'm scary/weird. Ugh. Is it really that hard to get to know me by just spending time with me and not by what kind of music is on my ipod?

And of course..."What do you weigh?" WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND ASKS A SIXTEEN YEAR OLD GIRL THAT????!!!?! (And yes, I have been asked this before. And it wasn't by a doctor or anything. It was supposed to be "casual conversation.")

"Do you have a headache?" <-- usually asked by my mother when I'm in a bad mood. There are many reasons I could be pissed off that have nothing to do with migraines.

"Are you PMSing?" or "When's your period?" First of all, that's personal information that I will only share with you of my own accord. If I wanted you to know, I would have told you by now. Second, there are plenty of reasons I could be upset that have nothing to do with my time of month, so stop making assumptions.

All these 'do you have a boyfriend' questions remind me of something really funny. One of my friends who was with a girl at the time once had to get up on stage at school because there was a visitor. He asked her if she had a boyfriend and the whole year started laughing and he didn't have a clue what was going on.

I hate it when people ask me if I'm courting...the first time someone asked me this question I stared at them blankly and said I don't know. I had no idea what it meant.

"Are you okay?" when I'm clearly not. I admit, I do it myself sometimes but it just makes me feel worse that it's obvious I'm not okay but yet they still asked me.

Also "why don't you smile?" is one I get a lot because I don't smile a lot but, I don't really feel like walking around with a fake smile plastered on my face. If I have no reason to smile, I won't. As well as "why don't you talk?" which is because I'm so shy and everyone just likes to try and get me to talk but being social and talking isn't something I do.

(Dyed my hair blond yesterday) DID YOU DYE YOUR HAIR BLONDE? - No, I didn't...but it's blond.

(Credit Card Guy) I just received your credit card payment for this month, did you pay your bill for the month? - I just don't get it.

(On the plane) Flight Attendant: Would you like vegetarian or chicken?
Me: Vegetarian.
Flight Attendant: Sorry there is no more vegetarian...Would you like vegetarian or chicken? - I'm just like wtf?

I hate when my mom asks me, "How was your day at work?" - she gets the same answer from me every single time.

"Why did you come here?".... "Did you drive?"- In reference to the school I go to. The first question insinuates that the school isn't good and the 2nd one is just dumb because it is so far from where I live. It also makes me feel like there is something wrong with me, what I'm studying, and the decisions I make.

"Why don't you have a girlfriend?"- Well, the answer is obviously because I've been rejected several times. I can't think of a better question to make someone feel like crap.

"Do you believe in God?"- For more reasons than I care to go into.

And this one is the worst: "Why are you so quiet?"- I haven't gotten this one in awhile, but when I get it, its really annoying because I really want to talk/be liked/etc. but its hard to come up with stuff to say in certain contexts. It reminds me how difficult it is to relate to people.

I never knew "What's up?" was such a dreaded questions.... I find it a great question because you can interpret it how you want...
For example it can mean:
How are you?
What are your plans for the day?
Doing anything fun?
Are you free right now?


You can't really answer it wrong....

They say 'Only ok'? (When you say a movie was ok)

Another one that got me a few weeks back , i felt sick and sore heads.
My work mate says 'Are you pregnant?'
Just cause i am sick, does not mean i am pregnant.. So annoying!!!!
