I wish things weren't so complicated.

I was always really great at hiding what a mess I was from most people - you being among the few exceptions. If it seems like things have gotten better for me, I've just gotten better at hiding it. I'm in pieces. Wish I could just call you up and talk without seeming too "eager". This whole treading lightly/who can seem the most indifferent thing is getting old.

This always happens everytime I see you with some other girl, I can't help but feel an ache in my chest. I know its stupid because were not even together and I know I can't feel this way toward you knowing the real way you are. I have to stop this but for some reason I can't quit you. Maybe its because I'm selfish and want you for myself even though I know it's stupid to feel that way. I think I need to take some time away from you and from everyone else that's connected to you. I need to think and get away. But I know that even if I try I always end up answering your calls or texts. Hell, the song Right Here Waiting by Staind fits this thing perfectly.
