Re: Natural way to stop a period -

I'm not sure if there are ways to stop it altogether. I've heard that drinking lots of fluids can lighten it, but not stop it, for instance. Someone getting their period is natural and healthy, so even though you may not want to, right now your body is healthy!
You can consider speaking to your doctor next time you go. There are some types of birth control where you only get your period every three months. It's not permanent but it's a start!

If you're talking about your current cycle, there isn't really a way to stop it. Like Dez said, drinking a lot of fluids can lighten the flow, but not stop it completely. However, if you're talking about stopping your period in general, talk to your doctor. I don't think there's a way to stop it completely, but many forms of birth control will delay your period for several months or make it so light that it only lasts for about a day. Just let your doctor know what your concerns are and what kinds of routes you would like to avoid. I'm sure they'll have some suggestions to offer you.
