Waitangi Day Blogging.

Posted February 6th 2014 at 05:08 AM by i_like_black (Being good at being stupid doesn't count.)

Man, I'm really hopeless at keeping a blog lately.

My toothache got so bad that I went to the hospital today to get pain relief. It's now being managed, and apparently I have a loose filling and a mild infection. I'm home now, of course, and taking the pain killers because when I don't, it's crazy sore.

I've been playing Flappy Bird. My highest score so far is 38.

They're decreasing my escitalopram from 40 mg back to 20 mg because I'm "getting elevated",...

Updating you all.

Posted January 20th 2014 at 03:29 AM by i_like_black (Being good at being stupid doesn't count.)

Holy crap, it's like January 20th. I've been in respite since the evening of the 8th, so nearly two weeks now. My mood still hasn't lifted and the content of my thoughts is still highly destructive. It will probably be at least a fortnight before I'm properly active again. I am making attempts to check TH at least once a day, but as those of you with your own experiences if very severe depression will be aware, things get overwhelming very fast.

Anyway I thought I'd just update you...

Okay, woah.

Turns out Christmas is a mere week away! Holy shit, that came out of nowhere.

We had our last group for the year today. I learned that the new guy has terminal AML. Explains a lot - like why he's angry a lot - but also makes me mad, because you get close to people in group, and it means some time in the future I'm going to have to try and cope with another cancer death. I don't want any of that shit. I had enough of it with Rebecca and T.A. It was scary enough having a sick brother,...

My disorganisation is showing in my blogging.

Posted December 16th 2013 at 06:52 AM by i_like_black (Being good at being stupid doesn't count.)

Yeah, every so often I'm like "oh shit! I haven't blogged in a while! There's nothing for my stalkers to do!" and then I write a blog.

So! I graduated Peer Employment Training with an overall score of 97.9% - and I checked - that's an A+ no matter what country you're in. Unless my source is wrong but I doubt that. I am now a qualified Peer Support Specialist, and can apply for jobs in that field. Go me! Living recovery. Not - not living a dream or anything, this is tough...

Yo, what up peeps.
First off, I forgot to tell you all that I'm celebrating the fact that I have a new phone. Sony Xperia Z1. It's shiznizzlyizzit, and my only issue so far (I've had it a week) is that I somehow moved the messaging icon from the task-bar into a folder . . . and I don't know how to put it back on the task-bar.
