Well, tomorrow Jon gets his first paycheck. Now of course I don't like that he wants to spend his money to go and get me nice things and take me out, but at the same time I can't help feeling excited about going out with him.

He wants to take me out to eat at a really good Mexican restaraunt downtown; he's taken me there once before, and the food is very good and at a very reasonable price!

There's one other thing he really wants to do, and I wish he wouldn't...

That's right, Jon finally found a job. His uncle is close friends with the owner of this pub downtown, so he was able to get a job there since they needed someone pretty bad. It's not easy work though, his shift is 11 hours long!

He called me this morning at 10, which surprised me because he didn't get off work until 3 am. He told me about his day, making pizzas and chicken, washing dishes, severely burning his thumb and index finger. He said it's hard work, but he's just happy...

Yesterday made 2 years on this incredible site, but unfortunately I wasn't able to make it online to celebrate. But that's okay, because I'm here now and I won't be leaving anytime soon.

You know, my mom really hurt my feelings today. We argue a lot and I'm used to that, but she said something really out of line today.

I was helping clean out the attic. There were tons of empty boxes up there, and we were taking them all out back to the burn barrel to get rid of them. From today until after New Year's, I am going to be so busy. My best friend came home from college for Christmas (she went out of state very far away), and now that she's back from visiting family in another state I'll be spending her last few days home with her. Today I have to pack my stuff and get ready to go. Then, as soon as I come home, I have to get ready again for Jon to come pick me up and whisk me away to spend New Year's together. I'll be spending the night at his house on New Year's...
