It's half one in the afternoon and I'm already thinking about going back to bed. I'm so tired, it's no wonder I missed the no entry sign during my lesson and my instructor had to stop the car for me.
I was out last night with a friend for some drinks. I forgot to eat before I went and the glasses were tiny so there was a much higher alcohol:mixer ratio than I'm used to. I stopped at the Burger King in central station before I got on the train so I could sober up a bit since the world was definitely moving a lot more than it usually does.
It was positive though, I talked a lot more and felt more comfortable after I'd had a couple of drinks. When I was waiting for my friend at the station I thought I was going to turn to stone, I was so tense and jumped everytime someone got close to me. I really hate being alone in crowds.
It was a good night though, I've never gone "out for drinks" with anyone and ACTUALLY had something to drink before. Usually I make excuses or stick to diet coke.

I registered with the doctors' surgery in my village on Thursday. The one I've been with since I was born is in the next town over and they're only open until six so the only time I could go is Friday after work and if you're being that picky about when you can go, you will never get an appointment.
My new patient evaluation appointment thing is next Saturday morning. This place has extended hours on "selected" Saturdays, I think maybe once a month or something, so that's really good.
They also have mental health people in there so maybe I don't have to go back to the asshole I saw before.

I've emailed my counselling tutor to ask for an extension on my assignment because I will never get it finished by Monday and I want to spend more time on it and do it right than rush it and hand in a half-arsed attempt. Which I think is sensible but we'll see.

My mum and I went to our church's Christmas fayre today and got our photo taken with Santa. We also went to a stall where you pay £1 for six rolls of paper and if the number on your paper matches one on a prize then you win it. The fayre was winding down and we know the woman who was running that stall so even though our papers only said "sweet" "biscuit" or "drink" we walked away with two big balloons, two drinks, a biscuit, a tray of sweets, two lollipops, bubbles, a leather glasses case, and a cute Santa decoration. Not bad for £2!

I've just spent ten minutes staring at the screen, I really am too tired to function today.
Bed and a DVD seems like an appropriate course of action.

I've almost finished my Christmas shopping and I'm so excited to decorate my room in a couple of weeks!

Take a nap. I'm glad you had fun last night! It's always nice to get out once in awhile with people that aren't family or work related. I'm also glad to hear you're getting set up at this new surgery. That's really awesome. I think it's reasonable to ask for extra time when you need it. Now just to get your butt in gear and do it.

    I love Christmas shopping.
