Another sleepless night. Not sure how I'm going to get through work tomorrow. Got to be up in 6 hours. Been drained all day and as soon as I get to bed I'm wide awake.

I feel overly anxious today. It hurts to be alive

I keep saying I'm not bitter about it, but maybe I am. Not because I wanted the extra work and responsibility, but because I would've liked my seniority to be considered and at least had the chance to discuss it before someone who's been there 5 minutes gets to act superior, bark orders, and treat me like a child because I don't know what she hasn't told me. We only have the radio she needed because I asked for it, and I brought it out when I started. I'm feeling very unappreciated and very unimportant, but the manager said after my day off last week that they missed me. Maybe things will change after I'm gone for a week. It's not bad enough that I would quit or anything, but this is seriously getting on my nerves!

You know that not-quite-awake feeling at the first ring of your alarm on an early morning when you're sleep deprived, so it's a struggle to even open your eyes? That's the most awake I feel all day. But everything's due. So I feel as if I'm in some altered state, but it's not fun. I feel like I'm kind of dissociating--not quite awake, not quite asleep; not quite alive, not quite dead.

I deserve to be dead.
