Re: puberty question.. - June 24th 2011, 04:05 PM

Hi there,
Everyone is different. You aren't going to be the same size as some of your peers. Some girls are naturally larger than others, while others are going to be much smaller. A lot of it has to do with your mother, her mother, and her mother and so on and so forth.

It is normal for your boobs to stop growing. At the end of puberty, you stop growing in height, and your chest will stop growing as well. We don't continue to grow as our lives go on.

Take care,
Shannon

Let me start off by saying every woman is different. Some women see lots of changes during puberty while some women never really grow that large in breast size. It's very common for women to feel insecure or unhappy about it, so your thoughts aren't that strange. If you are truly concerned or bothered by it, you can always try talking to another older woman you trust. They'll probably repeat the same things I've said, which proves my point about this being completely normal!

Re: puberty question.. - June 24th 2011, 04:21 PM

There are ways to make it seem as if you've got a bigger chest, like wearing a padded push up bra. I'm smaller than most of the females in my family, and this is what I do, especially when I want to feel a bit 'sexier' if you will.

You have to take into account that you aren't only getting your mother's genes but your father's side of the family as well. If someone on his side of the family is smaller chested, this is probably why you are.

There isn't anything wrong with being smaller, and your mom is right. Big chested woman often have super terrible back problems.

my dad's side (to my knowledge) is bigger then my smaller sized chest family on my mom's side. i am also too small chested for a push up bra. padding doesn't help because padding doesn't fit me right. i don't want a really big chest, a little bigger one then i have now.

Re: puberty question.. - June 24th 2011, 04:29 PM

Well, we usually continue to grow until about the age of 18, when puberty normally ends for woman, whereas boys continue to grow in height until about the age of 21.

You might get a little bit bigger, you might not. Whatever happens, be proud of what you got. It took me a long time to realize that even though I'm not as big as some people might enjoy, a lot of men like girls with smaller chests and I haven't had any complaints about them yet. You will have to learn to live with what you got. When you are old enough, you can chose to get them in a bigger size through an expensive and painful surgery.

i haven't gotten larger in a few years. i stopped growing in every way a few years ago, so unless i sprout, i am stuck little. i have tried to be proud of what i got, but i just can't be because i don't like myself. i hope that you're right and i may grow some because i will not have that kind of fault-meant part of me. i am glad you have learnt to like you as you are.

Re: puberty question.. - June 24th 2011, 05:06 PM

There's absolutely nothing wrong with being smaller chested! One of my friends has the smallest breasts out of my entire group of friends, but this doesn't make her any less lovely. Personally, I have not changed in size since I've properly started to wear bras. While I am also on the smaller side, I've been told that they suit my body frame and that they look larger than they are. I have learnt to dress appropriately in a manner that suits my body type.

Confidence makes anyone look good! Try it out sometime. c:

i know there is nothing wrong, i just wish i was a little bigger. nothing drastically bigger. all ladies are lovely, in their own way.most ask me why i even bother with bras, i am that small that most thing its a waste for me to even wear bras. i am glad you found happiness and acceptance for your body and yourself.
