The ledge (TRIGGERING: Suicide)

I was at the mall with my friend today (who will probably end up seeing this) and we were standing outside in between the parking garage and JC Penney's. We somehow got on the topic of falling off of the height, and I couldn't help but wonder if it would kill you. I always stared at the ground, slightly scared of heights, but at the same time I have thought of jumping off of the top level of the parking garage or other height at the mall, but I don't know if it would kill me or just leave me paralyzed or something. It's scary how often I have those thoughts, probably like any time I look down from that roof. It really sucks...

Sorry, this wasn't worthy of a thread post so I posted it here.

1. 	Someone in my state actually committed suicide at the mall near me. He jumped from the 3rd floor, I believe. So yeah, it's possible it could kill you, seeing as it killed him. I know it's scary to have those thoughts, that's why I tend to avoid malls. However, you're strong and you can get through whatever's bothering you that is causing you to have those thoughts.
