I'm still having a hard time with the meds and the depression. And my counsellor may be leaving next semester because she's a grad intern and she's graduating. Eep. I will talk to my APRN about the meds on December 2nd when my appointment is.

But besides that, I have good things!

I have been debating switching my major to Premed for a while and have made a decision. I am going to set up an appointment after Thanksgiving to go for Premed advising and then take classes as electives to see if I can handle them. If I can, I will switch majors to Premed and work towards at least a minor in Public Health. If I can't handle the Premed requirements, no harm done since it's just elective classes and I'll carry on with Public Health.

I have also been wishing for a new roommate for quite a while. It's not that I don't like her. It's just that we don't talk ever and it feels really awkward when I am in the room with her because we don't talk. Plus we're not in the same room often and she'll come in at midnight and later when I'm trying to sleep. So blah. I found out one of my friends is also looking for a roommate. So I talked to the RA and she told me the protocol for POSSIBLY switching. I don't know if it's going to go through or not. I have to have a meeting with my roommate and an RA first and my friend has to do the same with her roommate, and they will decide from there. So, fingers crossed but at least I tried!

So, maybe things are going okay right now.

I think it's great you are going to try for premed. It can be really intense but I think you are pretty smart and will be able to do it. Don't put too much pressure on yourself. Just try and enjoy school.

I hope you will be able to work things out with the roommate as well. I am sure it would be frustrating not to have a roommate you enjoy.

As for your counselor, that sounds tough. I know it can be difficult to have to change counselors but try and keep your head up and see what happens. You can do this. If you have to get a new counselor so be it. Hopefully the new counselor you get will stay longer.

Yay for good news! I'm sure things with your councilor situation will be just fine. It can be a little scary working with someone new but I'm sure if that happens, whoever you have in place of her will be just as good!

As for your roommate situation I'm sure that will work out just fine as well.

Lastly, yay for figuring out your college classes! I'm sure you'll do great in these classes, but as you said at least their electives. That way if things don't work out you'll be fine either way!
