This is Mark here. I'm sure that most of you have probably heard or seen me around here a few or more times here and there. I just want to take this time to share a message to all of you personally from me. I know that a lot of you have gone through or are going through difficulties with your very own lives whether it'd be that you've got no friends, you're getting bullied and don't know how to make it stop, possibly contemplating about self-harm and suicide due to a horrible incident that you experienced, etc. I may not know what it's like to be in a situation such as yours where you feel like your whole world is falling apart and there's no one to turn to, but I understand the feelings that come along with being in such a situation. However, regardless of what situation it is that you're going through, always remember that just because everything may seem hard right now, it doesn't mean that it's never going to get better, and you have no way out of it. The truth is you have a way out of any situation that you encounter. You have that power within you to make things happen, and change things for the better. You just have to believe in yourself that you can do these things, and achieve great success and happiness in the long run. Many people nowadays don't realize this, and they have a tendency to give up when things become too complex, or they become afraid of what to do when the going gets tough. It's understandable that everything is easier said than done, but don't be one of those people who quits. If you do, what good will that do you, and what is that going to say about you and who you are as an individual?

I've personally been through my own shares of experiences (we all have obviously), some of which that drove me over the edge, and very much like the rest of you have felt, I felt really lost and felt like there wasn't a way out of my situation, or even for things to get better. Through all this though, I learned two things. The first one being that you can never give up on anything because once you do, it's all over at that point. You will have lost in this "game of life", and it would just end up being all for nothing. Remember, it takes a lot of tries before something is finally done right. The road to success has a lot of fails along the way, but if you keep on going, you will eventually reach the destination of success. A friend once told me that those who fail only do so because they never realized how close they were to success. The second thing is whatever you do, always stay true to who you are, and always be someone with good integrity, good perseverance, and good heart no matter what. There will be people that'll try and bring you down to your knees, but don't allow them to do so. It doesn't matter what the people think of you; it's what you think about yourself that counts and matters most. Do what you believe in is the right thing to do, even if you stand alone doing so. You might think that you're not strong, but believe it or not: you are. I believe that every one of us is strong deep down inside; it's just a matter of looking inside yourself and realizing that. Once you finally see the truth in that, amazing things will begin to happen. Not only will you be able to help and comfort yourself, but you'll be able to do so for anyone that needs someone to reach out to. For miracles to happen, be the miracle that happens. You could change someone's life for the better. You could become the inspiration that someone looks up to. Life becomes so much more beautiful when you are able to change the lives of other people for the good, even if you are only able to change a single life. This goes out to everyone here on TeenHelp. If you know someone out there that's struggling, share this message with him/her. I can only hope that this message inspires people to become a better person than they already are, and to strive for something greater. We all need something to believe in. We all need someone to believe in us. We all need inspiration to inspire us to believe.

Cherish each and every day that passes by, and always think positive thoughts; not always possible to do, but maintaining that will go a long way in life. Take care of yourselves everyone. I'm happy to be a part of the TeenHelp community where not only I get to have a great experience with others, but also get to help and inspire others as well. Thank you for your time, and I hope that this message has touched you in the heart.

All the best from your friendly guy,
Mark
