About an hour ago I was thinking about how I'm going to end up staying up until stupid o'clock tonight even though I have to be up at 7.15 to get to my placement in a care home tomorrow. I looked at the clock and thought 'Nah, it's not even 9 yet, I'll shower in a minute and settle down.' It's now almost ten and my lazy ass hasn't moved.
Honestly I don't want to go. I understand that I need the 140 or whatever hours of care work to move on to HNC Social Care and I get that a care home is

I am getting so sick of my family. One aunt is just steamrolling everything and taking over and doing everything the way she wants it. The other is standing by her.

Another aunt is just going to kick off and create drama by the sounds of it at the funeral.

I’m so sick of this week. Seriously.

I spent maybe an hour and a half or two hours typing up an order of service, making sure the text fitted, editing a nice picture and making sure it all looked good....

I started so many things I wish I hadn’t.

We're having a 'family night' tonight.
Random food, games and maybe watching some of the video footage we took on holiday.
I'm not fooled.
I know why they're doing this. And in some ways, it makes it worse.
They're trying to compensate for disappointment and show what they mean when they say that we have to stick together as a family.
I wouldn't say I'm feeling disappointed. It feels more like there's a huge part of me that's just... gone.
And it's not coming...

Wow I need to come on this thing more

I can't believe the last time I used it was my first day at college.
Lots has changed.
I've settled in, I know my way around and actually know some people's names

Shock horror!

I'm definitely happier and a bit more confident since then too.
Though my pessimism is telling me that it won't be long before both are shattered. Isn't that cheerful?

Currently getting very excited about a trip to England on Friday....

Today was my first day of life as a college student.
Not exactly my best day either if I’m honest.
After lunch I had Healthcare Numeracy which I almost fell asleep in at least 6 times. The college has no air conditioning. And the windows don’t open. The result of this is either a classroom that could make you pass out with the heat, or a classroom that Eskimos would find cold. There is no in between. Joy. Luckily the tutor took pity on us and we got a half hour break instead of 15...
