I walked the 2.4 miles to Naomi's today but since I did it after she got out of work (5.30) it was pitch black outside already. And pouring with rain. And somehow in all the times I've walked to and from here, I never noticed the danger. The whole road is a 60 speed limit, the path is about 2 feet wide, and for a mile there are no street...

Spent the past 2-3 hours trying to do my first assignment for Introducing the Social Sciences.
I'm watching the DVD again (3rd time now, and I've read the transcript for it) and it's getting me nowhere.
I mean. It's on Winners and Losers. And the one example I have is the same event that affects two people making one a winner and one a loser. I have other examples of losers. But no more winner examples and certainly none that are connected like I did with the first one.

Today is exactly 17 months since Naomi and I had one of the most awkward conversations of our lives and finally ended up together.
I don't think she's noticed/remembered which is good. I've texted her dad who has very kindly offered to, as he put it, "bugger off for a couple of hours"

I get to see my amazingfantasticbeautifulfunnysmartbrilliantadorab le girl today and I can't freaking wait!
